This year I have brought my Great Grandads medals from World war one to school. He fought in Gallipoli and many more countries. He acheived 5 medals. He survived the war everyone was so happy but died of old age. So my Grandad joined world war two he worked on the ships and lucky for him he didn't die. He is still alive now. Now thats why I wear poppies on ANZAC DAY.

It has been very interesting learning about your great grandad & grandad hasn't it Miss B. Also attending the Anzac services at stockade hill in Howick has helped to remember all those who have fought in the war.
